Richard "Rip" Hamilton has entered training camp with his mouth in midseason form. His target in week one was ousted Pistons' coach Flip Saunders. Rip on Flip:

I was disappointed at the way Flip (Saunders) did things, that was the frustrating thing about it.

After being jock-blocked all summer by Larry Bird and the rest of the Pacers' front office, Jamaal Tinsley finally has a locker with his name on it. According to Dime Mag, via the NY Post, Tinsley has been sent to the Denver Nuggets for Chuckie Atkins and Stephen Hunter.

After rehabbing all offseason, people are saying Tinsley is all swolled and ready to make the Pacers look simple. Hopefully JT can keep healthy and suit up for the long haul this season.

In Australia, a late score to report as the Melbourne Tigers smash the Cairns Taipans 107:77. Ebi Ere went for 24 in the walk-over victory.
