The Sports Dollar has released their Q3 Sports Blog rankings. The Sports Blog is a great resource for guys like me who want to...what's the buzz word again? Oh yeah monetize their website. It's one of about 4 non-basketball blogs in my RSS feed. Anyway, as the third quarter of calendar 2008 came to a close, TSD quantified just how much juice the top sports blogs had. The rankings took into consideration Google PageRank, Alexa Rank, BallHype Rank and Technorati Rank to...rank the sites. Here's a list of some hoops blogs that should be in your RSS feed (if they're not already). Hardwood Paroxysm - Hardest site title in the history of the written word with a spartan layout. But how can you deny a blog that drops a Tom Hanks/Sally Field reference on you? HP is ranked 20 and is the top basketball-only blog on the list. NESW Sports - not a hoops-only blog, but Ethan's a real sweatheart, so I wanted to give him the shout-out for being ranked 34th. Hoops Addict - at 38 on the list, this dude pulls crazy interviews. Bear witness, Allan Houston interview. Cuzoogle.com - The Cuz's blog worked it's way into my heart. From the Raptors coverage to blogging tips to random pictures of hot chicks. Cuzzy's #42 in your programs, but #1 in your hearts. Blazers Edge - Blazers' Edge is having a good month. Greg Oden looks like he's about to go Beast Mode all over the Western COnference, they're organizing class trips, and they're the 50th entry on the list. Good job, guys. Labels: blogging |
