The first round of the Euroleague is in the books. Ten players stood out, five were playing in beast mode, and five should think about taking up water polo.

18 points shooting a perfect 7-7 from the field, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks. McDonald won Week 1 MVP honors.

Loren Woods (Zalgiris)
17 points and 16 rebounds, including 7 second chances with 3 assists and 2 steals doing most of the damage for a hurting Zalgiris team.

Ksistof Lavrinovic (Montepaschi Siena)
13 points, 3 of 4 for 3pointers, 13 rebounds a steal and a block against Prokom.

Rawle Marshall (Cibona)
20 points with 3 rebounds 3 steals and 2 blocks off the bench hitting 5-9 from the floor.

Ersan Ilyasova (Regal FC Barcelona)
18 points hitting 7 of 12 with 12 rebounds and a block in a crush job against SLUC Nancy.
