Sep 1, 2008 | 7:44 PM | Monday Night Open Run

So much news today, and so little action on the court. I'm afraid of what the Skip Pass & Open run will look like when teams all over this damn planet suit up for real in a month or two.

:: OZHoopsBoards.com: Ebi stabs Dragons......He's a TIGER!!!!! (via: ASW) - Ebi Ere may have just broken the first ankles of the 2008/9 season. After telling the Dragons he's staying in America to play in the Association, rumors are floating that he may be going back to Australia to run with the Melbourne Tigers. Nothing official, but who doesn't love a rumor?

:: BBC: British basketball's long road to 2012 - The BBC gives a break down of what the 2012 hosts will have to do to qualify for the Men's hoops tourney. They're not getting the automatic bid, yet. They've got Euro 2009 & 2011 to make some noise. But there are rumors FIBA will open up more slots for London.

:: NBL: Hawks D needs fix: Cooks - Hawks' coach Eric Cook says his squad needs to tighten up on their end of the court. Wollongong (and what other American can spell that?) posted 118 in a win over the weekend against Adelaide. The 36ers put up 111 of their own, the won the back end of the home/home 95:83.

:: Northern Territory News: Slinging our way - Singapore Slingers - who dropped out of NBL due to travel costs - are challenging Darwin Airport AllStars to a home/away series. This comes after their 75:73 win in the Brunei Cup Quarters.

:: And Carol WTF is this thing?
