Dallas Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle and Josh Howard will address the media concerning Howard's "I'm black" video at camp. Carlisle:
I can talk to you about his summer of basketball, which has been great. This other thing is something that he’s going to have to address when he’s back here.

Outspoken owner and former cheap-seat season ticket holder, Mark Cuban spoke his mind via his blog. On Friday he posted several emails he received over the video. Later in the day he took them down replacing it with a post simply reading "I made my point".

I don't think any other owner in the league would be as understanding of the situation as Cuban will be. He's a very outspoken individual who's found himself in David Stern's targets more often than most. This incident goes above and beyond calling a ref on a bad call. But he can be empathetic to Howard's public misstep.

Calls for Howard to be cut from the Mavericks will go unheeded as that would just let another NBA team sign him at a discount after training camp when this public outrage has calmed and the blood-thirsty have moved on to the next target.

Hit the jump for the video.
