I'm sitting here watching Brazil v Cameroon soccer. I can't help but think that soccer is sort of the Taiwanese Parliament of sports. Whenever the ref blows the whistle to stop play, everybody has to come over and get a word in and plead their case. And occasionally, someone gets cleated in the mouf. Yeah I said "mouf", I used it for emphasis. Get over it.

Game of the Year Candidate Team USA v Spain (Olympic men's pool play) - Team USA is gearing up for it's toughest challenge of The Games when they get the Gasol brothers, Rudy Ferndandez, Jose Calderon, and the rest of the Spaniards. Everyone's predicting Team USA with the "But it'll be a hell of a game" caveat. Look for the Spanish team to call for the runback in the gold medal match-up.

:: England Basketball: U16 Men Suffer Opening Loss - Tournament favorites Slovenia gets down right rude and puts a 87:46 ass-whippin' on Great Britain. Seriously, that just ain't right.
